Rosemarie Kreutziger, 83, of York, NE passed away on February 14, 2017 in Belton, MO. She was born on October 29, 1933 to Baltazar and Mariquita Alvarado in Amarillo, TX.
She grew up in Colorado Springs with her parents and twelve siblings. She was married in 1955 to John W. Kreutziger Jr., raised 6 children in Belvidere, IL, and worked as an early childhood teacher and a home maker. In 1988 she and her husband John moved to York, Nebraska where they resided until John passed in 1999. Rosemarie remained in York until recently moving into family care.
Rosemarie is survived by her children, John W. (Deb) Kreutziger III of Sycamore, IL, Virginia (John) Oller of Rockford, IL, Louis (Katherine) Kreutziger of Leawood, KS, Raymond (Erin) Kreutziger of Olathe, KS, Marlene Dulaney of Belton, MO, and William (Beth) Kreutziger of Savage, MN; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Marilyn Wern of Merrick, NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Kreutziger Jr. and eight siblings.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, February 24, 2017, at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.
