Russell W. Wright, 60, of Olathe, KS passed Tues. Feb. 14, 2017.

Russell was born February 17, 1956 in O’Fallon, MO to Edgar and Glodia Wright. He graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School in O'Fallon, MO before attending Mid America Nazarene University. He later received a Master’s degree in H.R. from Ottawa University.

He married his college sweetheart Marla Adams, September 2, 1978 in Cherryvale, KS.

He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene and was loved by his managers and co-workers at the US Bank processing center in Overland Park.

Russell was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his mother Goldia Wright and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Marla Wright, and several uncles, aunts, cousins and his step brother and sister in law Ed and Ruth Will of Mrytle Beach, SC.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family or the Bus Ministry at College Church of the Nazarene.
