The family has a life long history in the construction and development business in the Kansas City area.
Martha is survived by her loving children, George, Sis (Larry) Schaub, Steve (Melany), David (Liz), Janelle (John) Larson, and Philip (Fiance Teresa); seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Carla Martens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; sons, William, and Dennis; sisters, Elsie Leach, Bess McCoy, Ruth Botham, Leta Pritchard, Margaret Fanning, Alberta Chesnut, Hazel Franz; two brothers, George Botham and Fred Botham.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 10:00-11:30am on Monday, June 12, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe. The Rosary will be at 11:30am, followed by the Mass at 12:00pm. Private Interment will be on Tuesday for immediate family and very close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to either Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W 143rd St., Olathe, KS 66062 or to Catholic Charities, 333 E Poplar, Olathe, KS 66061.
