Gary G. Knott, of Olathe, KS, went to be with the Lord Jesus on August 17, 2017. Gary was born in Grand Rapids, MN on January 20, 1957. He was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps after six years of service. He worked at Honeywell for 30 years and recently was hired at Garmin in Olathe, KS. He served the Lord over the years in Awana, as a deacon, and in Journey to Judea.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Knott. He is survived by his wife, Beth Knott, his daughters Rachel Knott, Laura Knott, and his son Eric (Valerie) Knott, all of Olathe; his mother, Dorothy Knott of Marcell, MN; his brothers Ron (Deb) Knott of Prior Lake, MN, Geoff (Kelly) Knott of Lonsdale, MN, and Steve (Jennifer) Knott of Marcell, MN.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, August 25, 2017, from 6:00-8:00pm at Countryside Baptist Church in Olathe. The memorial service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Countryside Baptist Church's ministry, Journey to Judea.
