Darius Jordan Thomas of Olathe, Kansas, passed away August 24, 2017, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Darius was born November 14, 1995, in Olathe, Kansas. He graduated from Olathe South High School where he was an active athlete. He was a talented soccer player for Rush and Toca with a passion for motorcycles. Darius was driven and kind-hearted. He loved his family, friends, and was always willing to help others. Darius will always be remembered for his smile and laugh.

Darius is survived by his parents Dexter and Shawn Thomas; brothers Adrian and Dimitri Thomas; grandparents Deb Edwards (Ken Ladley), Patricia (Ted) Carson, and John Higgins; aunts Nikita Singer and her son Adonis Simmons, Brittany Higgins and her children; great aunt and uncle Terri and Rick Balent, Donald Thomas and Darius’ girlfriend Cassie Stephens.

Darius was preceded-in-death by his grandfather Charles Singer; great grandmother Mary Thomas ; second cousin Carlos Thomas; and family friend Eden Adler.
