Aaron D. Borland DO, 37, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Aug 25, 2017. Aaron was born on February 1, 1980 in Fort Leonard Wood, MO to Roma and David Borland. He married his childhood friend in 2001. He graduated in 2007 as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in AZ. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Botsford Hospital in MI in 2011. After completing his training, he moved with his family to Overland Park, KS and spent the next few years working in various hospitals around metro KC. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, family near and far, friends, and attending/serving at church.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Shanna Borland, their two daughters, Melanie and Gillian, his parents, Roma Borland and David Borland, and brother, Jonathan Borland.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the University of Kansas Cancer Center or to the Olathe Medical Center Hospice House.
