Margaret L. (DePont) Kramerich, passed away September 10, 2017. She was born in Kansas City, MO to Achiel J. and Marie L. DePont on January 22, 1922.

Margaret attended St. Augustine Elementary School and graduated with honors from Ruskin High School in Hickman Mills, MO. During her working years, she was employed by Bruce Dodson Insurance Company, Hallmark Corporation, and Ford, Bacon and Davis engineering firm in Kansas City, MO.

Margaret met her future husband at a USO dance in Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and they corresponded through letters. She married Stephen Nicholas Kramerich of Lebanon , PA in a solemn Catholic Mass at St. Catherine's Church in 1950.

After living in several states while Stephen was still in the armed services, they finally settled in Bucyrus, KS where Stephen built their present house in 1969.

Margaret (Margo, as she liked to be called) was a devoted wife and mother of four children. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed taking family vacations. She loved to look back at their home movies of many special trips and events that took place over her 61 years of marriage.

In later years, she began making crafts and gave many of her large rosaries to family and friends. Her faith played an important role in her life. She and Stephen were members of Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Wea, KS for many years before joining Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kanas City, MO. Margaret was proud of her heritage and was a member of the Belgian Club and belonged to the Don Lipovac Booster Club. They had a large vegetable garden and orchard, and Margaret spent many hours planting and weeding flowers by her grotto of Our Blessed Mother. Summers were busy with freezing and canning their delicious fruits and vegetables.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, husband , Stephen N. Kramerich, her sister Julma Rhodes and her brothers Frank and Maurice DePont and her son-in-law, Lee Cucar.

She is survived by her daughter Celeste Cucar of Olathe, KS, her sons Nicholas Kramerich of Bucyrus, KS, Eric Kramerich of Lenexa, KS, and daughter Colette Morrissey (Jack) of Lenexa, KS.

She is survived by five grandchildren Dominic Cucar, Damian (Diane) Cucar, and Danielle (Rob) Neal, Hank Morrissey and Jake Morrissey and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Clara (DePont) Wiggins of DeLand, Florida and many other family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
