Marlene Amanda Moore, 80, passed away on September 18, 2017. She was born on October 12, 1936 in Manistique MI. Marlene graduated Manistique High School in 1954. She then went on to study and get a degree in Cosmetology (licensed in both KS & MO), then graduated with a degree as Medical Secretary (4.0 avg.) from Maple Woods Community College. She enjoyed using both skills for a number of companies in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

Marlene became a member of Watch Tower & Bible Tract Association (Jehovah Witnesses) and last attended the Indian Creek Hall in Olathe, KS.

Marlene is survived by her husband, Gordon Moore; son, Erin (Kathy) Moore; grandchildren, Jessica Steppe and Ryan Moore; and great grandchildren, Sloane and Presley Steppe.

Memorial services will be held this week at Brookdale Rosehill in Shawnee KS, and at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Olathe KS.
