Mary Pat (Kirkland) Fischer, 59, of Olathe, KS Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday morning October 12, 2017.

Mary Pat was born August 15, 1958 in Salina, KS to John and Ethel Kirkland. She attended Minneapolis High School, graduating in 1976. Mary Pat attended Kansas State University, but finished her college education at Cloud County Community College. She married Jesse Owen Fischer on August 9th, 2003.

Preceded in death by parents John & Ethel Kirkland, sister Judith (Kirkland) Reh,
Mother in Law Wilma (Brook) Fischer and Brother In Law Michael Sage.

Survived by: Her husband, Jesse Fischer brother and sister-in-law Jack & Sammy Kirkland of Hanover KS, brother in- law John Reh of Salina, KS, Father in law Darrell Fischer of Overland Park,KS, Brother and Sister in law Bill and Carol Fischer of Overland Park, KS, Sister in law Robin Sage of Overland Park, KS and Brother and Sister in law Paul and Stacey Fischer of Prairie Village, KS.

She is also survived by her nieces: Elaine (Jay) Edwards of Salina, KS Mikala (Pat) Gansemer of Bellvulle, NE, Carole Landers of Overland Park, KS and Olivia Fischer of Prairie Village, KS.

and her nephews: Kevin (Janet) Kirkland of Maryville, KS Jeff (Vickie) Reh of Arlington, VA Mike Kirkland of Winfield, KS Kirk (Teresa) Reh of Overland Park, KS Tom (Dana) Kirkland of Maryville, KS, Anthony Fischer of Overland Park, KS, Zachery (Britany) Sage of Overland Park, George Fischer of Prairie Village, KS and William Fischer of Prairie Village, KS.

four great nieces: Jennifer (Kirkland) Centlivre, Allison Edwards, Megan Kirkland , Shelby Gansemer
six great nephews: Nathan Kirkland, Jacob Kirkland, Bryce Reh, Michael Edwards, Ben Kirkland, Caleb Gansemer

Mary Pat also leaves behind her beloved cat, Lucky. She loved her cats. Mary Pat was an avid reader, loved her backyard garden and enjoyed spending time on her patio watching "her" birds.
