Delores was born November 28, 1934 in Beagle, KS to Mamie and Delbert Stout.
In 1952, she married Donald Cousins, who preceded her in death.
In 1984, she married Wayne E. Scott, of the home, who survives her.
Delores attended business college and worked at Bendix, Midwest Victorian Marble, Crown Realty and Remax Partners during her career as a realtor.
She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Young of Overland Park, KS, and her daughter Sherri Brown (Jim) Olathe, KS, five step-children, grandchildren, Joshua Haines (Kristina), Ginger Katz (Bryce) and Austin Brown (Clancy) and eleven step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Crust and father Delbert Stout, and her daughter Dawn Jen'ne Cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 11:00 am at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, with visitation offered at 9:30am. Burial to follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Sister Servants of Mary, 800 N. 18th Street, Kansas City, KS 66102
