In Memory Of
Richard C. Gevertz
1961 - 2017

Rich was born in Farmington, NM on March 29, 1961 to Harry and Ann Gevertz. His family relocated to El Paso, Texas where he graduated from Coronado High School, Class of 1979. He was active in sports where he excelled in baseball and football. He graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a degree in Business and Marketing.

Rich had a passion for people and was an outstanding salesman. He worked in hotel and pharmaceutical sales for the majority of his career winning numerous awards.

Rich was married for 31 years to Cindy and had two children, Mitchell (fiancé Mallory Ayers) and Paige Tull (Dennis Tull) and grandson, Caden Tull (which he lovingly called popsicle).

He took great joy in coaching his son's various baseball and football teams through Olathe youth sports and watching his daughter play soccer and volleyball.

Rich was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and older brother Rob. He is survived by his loving family, friends and his spoiled dog Dasher. All who knew him, will miss his sense of humor and heart for the underdog.
