Marcella Louise Kramer, age 89, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Evergreen Community of Johnson County, Olathe, KS.

She was born December 1, 1927 in Topeka, KS to Otho and Mattie ( Tucker) Weaver, and she graduated from Carbondale Rural High School. On July 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Larry Lee Kramer. Together, they raised their family in the Leavenworth, KS area.

Marcella was employed for many years as a medical receptionist. In their later years, Larry and Marcella enjoyed traveling, which included trips to Europe and Australia.

She enjoyed playing bridge and reading.

Marcella is survived by her son, Don Kramer and his wife, Angie, two grandchildren Matthew Kramer and his wife, Rachel, and Emily Wassenberg and her husband, Bryan, three great-grandchildren, Liam, John and Hadley, and her sister, Patricia Dickey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kramer, and her son, Steven Alan Kramer.

Private family services will be held.
