Martin Lynn French, 66, of Olathe passed away on November 15, 2017.
He was born in Kansas City, MO on October 2, 1951 to Harold and Lois French.
Martin worked as a business manager and mentor at Farmers Insurance for 38 years.
On January 7, 1978 he married Kathleen Ann Ralston and they began their 40 year love affair together in Emporia, Kansas.
Martin is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his children Ian, Eric, Megan, Adam, Sean, his thirteen grandchildren, his brother Craig and his sister Lisa.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold French and mother Lois Mooney.
Martin was a devout catholic, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, a passionate husband, a devoted and loving father, and a man who cherished the many friendships he cultivated.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 20 from 6:30-8:00pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd, Olathe, KS, with prayers of the rosary offered at 6:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at 1:30pm, also at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Prince of Peace Pavilion of Hope ( a feeding center for the elderly and indigent in Porumamilla, India), and sent to the Blessed Brian Home Foundation – Pavilion, P.O. Box 12494, Overland Park, KS 66282-2494 or to Catholic Charities, 333 E Poplar St "A", Olathe, KS 66061.
