1937 - 2017

Lawrence "Joe" Paige, Sr. was born on March 8, 1936, a twin son to Salome Paige in St. Joseph, Missouri. He transitioned this life on December 23, 2017. He was a graduate of the former Bartlett High School in St. Joseph where he was a longtime resident until he moved to Olathe, Kansas, to be with his family.

Joe retired from Gary Manufacturing in St. Joseph, Missouri.

He was previously married to Leotha Bell and to this union, one son, Lawrence "Joey" Paige, Jr., was born.

Joe will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Salome Paige, his twin brother, Clarence Lewis "PeeWee" Paige, Sr. and grandparents William and Myra Hammer.

He leaves to cherish his homegoing, his only son, Joey Paige, grandkids Raschel (Jimmy), Joseph (Stacy), Elree and eight great-grandkids and his brother, Leroy E. Paige, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as well as very dear longtime friends, Erly and Jewel Polk along with nieces, nephews, classmates and friends.
