In Memory Of
Richard D. Murray
1963 - 2018

Richard was born March 6, 1963 in Olathe, KS to Robert and Lila Murray, he graduated from Spring Hill High School. He worked for APAC Construction and was close to retirement. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his friends and road trips. He was mechanically inclined and loved making and fixing things with his hands. If he did not have the tool he needed, he was known to make his own.

He also loved watching westerns and older classic movies. Nature played a role in Richard’s life as he loved trees and loved planting them on his land.
He loved being outside among nature and the animals and flowers.

Richard was always there to help anyone who needed it, even if it was a stranger.

He could do some damage when it came to eating BBQ and Mexican food.

He and wife Tamra spent many years making memories. Going on a cruise, and traveling to different places over the years. He loved to slow dance in the shop with her and they enjoyed just being with each other. He would go with her to the Ballet and even went to watch Chinese dancing. He enjoyed learning and doing different things.

Richard loved his mother’s pumpkin pie and always told people she made the best ever and loved it at the holiday times.

He had many stories with his older brother Bobby and their childhood memories and all the fun they had together.

Richard was loved by so many and he loved so many. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces Melissa and Annie and their families. He was very grateful for everyone’s support, love and prayers during his journey.

Richard is survived by his wife Tamra, mother Lila Murray, brother Bobby Murray, and mother in law Doreen Harpool. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Murray and nephew Daniel Murray.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a local animal shelter or the local Shriners.
