Shirley A. Schwab, 77, of Overland Park, KS passed away on March 8, 2018.

Shirley was born October 15, 1940 in Kansas City, Mo to William and Beatrice Trueblood. She married Dr. JD Schwab on July 11, 1966. They raised their 2 children in Belton, Mo. She attended Southwood Church of the Nazarene in Raytown, before moving to Topeka, and faithfully attended Topeka First Church of the Nazarene, where she served on the church board. Early in her life, Shirley was an accomplished ballet dancer and loved fashion. Shirley loved Jesus and had a passion for mission work and was able to go to Argentina to help with the Church of the Nazarene's work there.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Trueblood, mother Beatrice Trueblood, her brother Gary Trueblood and her husband JD Schwab.

She is survived by her children, Fred Schwab (Annette) and Julie Koker (Kevin) and 5 grandchildren, Stevie Smith, Kara Lauhoff, Andrea Hoskinson, Faith North (Drake), Lauren Koker and 6 great grandchildren, Logan, Alexis, Anakin, Ayden, Anna and Lane.
