Steven R. Cooper, age 60, passed away on April 2, 2018.


How fitting that the name Steven is known as The Crowned One.

We rejoice in knowing that our friend Steve has received his crown of glory that shall never fade away.

Steve is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Sheila Thomas- Cooper.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Gloria Joanne Cooper, a sister Larae Cooper, and a brother Larry Cooper.

Surviving relatives include Kaleb, Jeremiah, and Cayla Cooper, Joh, Rachel, Seaira, MacKenzie, and Audry Norquist, Kristen, Erica, and Dakota Cooper, Dillon Long, and Carolyn Fredrickson.

Steve will be remembered for his strong faith in his Savior Jesus Christ, his gentle spirit, faithfulness in his marriage, his singing talent, and his unwavering acts of kindness to many family, friends, and neighbors.

There will be a time to share your fondest memory of Steve during a Celebration of Life planned for Steve at Red Ridge Baptist Church, 4901 E Red Bridge Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137 on Saturday, April 14th at 10:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, cash donations (to assist with funeral expenses) will be welcome at the Celebration of Life.
