Chad Michael Lynch, 53, of Shawnee, KS passed away on April 16, 2018 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He was born on September 17, 1964 to Daniel and Kaye (Ochs) Lynch in Wichita, KS.

Chad worked as a Director of Customer Development.

On October 14, 1995, he married Shelly Kay (Patee) Lynch. Chad and Shelly made their home in Shawnee, KS.

He was the President of the Shawnee Mission RC Club, a member of the 95th Street RC Club and a member of the Millcreek Rifle Club.

Chad is survived by his loving wife, Shelly, his mother, Kaye Lynch, step-mother Carol Lynch, step-brothers Mike and Scott Risley, and half-brother Sean Lynch.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Lynch.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00am at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob, Olathe, KS where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time.

Memorials are suggested to The Dean E. Smith Opening Doors Fund, UNC-Chapel Hill, PO Box 309, Chapel Hill, NC 27514-0309 or to the family to assist with medical expenses.
