He was born on February 25, 1935 to Clarence Wonsetler and Willina (Taylor) Wendel in Kansas City, Missouri.
On September 3, 1957, he married Marian (Buck). Clarence and Marian lived in Osawatomie and Paola, Kansas.
He enjoyed working on cars and tractors.
Clarence is survived by his loving Sons, Brian (Shawn) Wonsetler, Robert Wonsetler, Jeffrey Wonsetler, Daughter, Melinda Wonsetler, Brother, Charles Wendel Grandchildren, Amber (Jessie) Burke, Brian Cupp, Kyle Sieberhein, Scott Sieberhein, Cassie Wonsetler, Adrienne Husted, Ashely Sieberhein, and Great-grandchildren, Keara Burke, Leland Uhl-Lewis, Maci Lewis, Mason Lewis, and Cain Sieberhein.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Wonsetler and Willina Wendel, wife, Marian, sister, Mary Jo Wonsetler-Cauthon, brothers, Richard Wendel, and Wayne Wendel, and son, Willie Wonsetler
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 10:30 am at the Penwell-Gabel - Olathe Chapel, Olathe, Kansas, with Pastor Gary Dackin, officiating Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 am.
Interment will take place at Edgerton Cemetery.
