Robert O’Neal “Bob” Chambers, Jr., age 65, of Olathe, KS, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 at Olathe Medical Center.

Bob was born in Des Moines, Iowa on November 30, 1952 to Robert and Florence (Snyder) Chambers. He grew up in Dallas Center, Iowa and graduated from Dallas Center High School in 1971.

Bob worked in the heating/cooling and pipe fitting industry for companies in Dallas Center and Des Moines.
When he was younger, he enjoyed spending time on his boat. He also enjoyed traveling to see his favorite bands. He loved spending time with his grandsons, watching their sporting events, and playing card games. He also loved watching his favorite teams, the Yankees and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Bob was a loving father and grandfather. He will be forever remembered by his loving daughter, Jena Lee Cavil, her husband, Tearence, and his grandchildren, Jaylen and Tyler Cavil and Raysean Gunn. Bob was also survived by his two brothers, Steve (Coleen) Chambers and Dave Chambers, one sister, Marsha (Tom) Wright, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Florence, his wife, Paula (Jones) Chambers, and two sisters, Janet Waldrup and Barb Ellliot.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 3:00pm. It will be at the home of Steve and Coleen Chambers 4885 NW Piekenbrock, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. We'll eat, drink, and share memories.
