Christina “Kris” Marie Samek was born to parents’ Mary and John Samek on October 18, 1952.
She was the oldest of five children including brothers: John and James; and sisters: Mary and Theresa.
At sixteen years of age Kris married David Shumway and together they were blessed with three children: David, Matthew, and Danae. She was an intelligent, caring, and thoughtful woman.
Mother of three and grandmother to nine, Christina Marie Shumway went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2018, much too soon. She will be missed.
