Donald R. Tannahill, age 83, passed away April 22, 2015 in Olathe, KS. Donald was born August 11, 1931 in Enid, Oklahoma to Vernon and Lena Tannahill. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Tannahill was a partner/owner of Tri-Don Lawn Care, and served on the Professional Lawn-care Foundation Board of Directors, and was a former Director of Mid-America Green Industry, as well as Director and President of Kansas Turf-grass Foundation, and President of the Kansas Horticultural Society.
He was also a member of the Kansas City Catbackers.
Mr. Tannahill is survived by his children Ray Tannahill, Kathy (Kirk) Johnston, Cyndi (Brad) Mawhiney, Julie Gibson, grandchildren Kyle Johnston, Allie Klingenberg, Mandy Malone, Katie Hollon, Matt Mawhiney, Kasey Johnston, Trevor Gibson, and Kelsi Gibson, and three great-grandchildren Anna and Wyatt Klingenberg and Hadley Hollon, and siblings Jean Heggemeier, Ginger Bevan, Sue Choal, Jo Voss, Billy Lago, Larry Lago and Donna Hague.
