Delores M. Hudson, 76, of Olathe, passed away on September 26, 2015. She was born on April 17, 1939 to Barney and Emily Machaj in Hammond, IN. She had one sister Carol and two brothers Bartholomew and Herbert.
Delores is survived by her children Debra (Craig) Peterson, Diane (Mike) Brown, Steven Hudson, Linda (Michael) Samyn, Karen (Dennis) Paulie; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Barney and Emily; her sister Carol; and the father of her children James Hudson.
Friends and family called her “Dolly” she loved to play bingo, do ceramics, play cards and she loved music. Dolly had an infectious spirit and was always concerned for others. Even Alzheimer’s didn’t keep her from helping others and making friends.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6-8 on Friday, October 2nd at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe.
