SALT LIFE

Janie Ramirez Ingolia joined the celebration with the angels on October 27th. Janie lived her life as beauty, kindness, unconditional love and generosity. She will be deeply missed by everyone that came in contact with her. She was born and raised in Kansas City, graduated from St. Theresa's Academy in 1986 and received her bachelors degree from Baker University.

Beloved for her laughter and her devotion to family, Janie’s blessed soul and contagious smile and laughter lives on through her lifelong love and husband of 23 years Andrew, her children Sarah (Danzl), Bailey, Nicholas and Anthony; parents John and Melody Ramirez; sisters Jennifer Gryska and Jessica Costello; and mother in father in law, Barbara and Domenick Ingolia.

As a strong Catholic and deeply spiritual woman, she was the Godmother to many, including nephews Jack, Gavin and Brett and nieces Evelyn, and Makenna. A devoted mother, Janie spent most of her time with family. Her favorite activities included attending her children’s sporting events, laughing with her sisters, traveling to Colorado and Wisconsin, and having a glass of white wine on the beaches of Alabama.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30th from 9:00-11:00 during which a Rosary said at 10:00 in the chapel followed by Mass at 11:00 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe - 16000 W 143rd St, Olathe, KS 66062. Burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery – 9501 W. 159th St. Overland Park, KS.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GOFUNDME or you can mail donations directly to the Ingolia family. The funds collected will support the educations of Janie’s children. Please consider visiting gofundme.com/ry7h9zng to make a donation. (Copy and paste the URL into your browser).
