In Memory Of
Virginia "Ginnie" Frierdich
1959 - 2016

Virginia "Ginnie" Sue Frierdich, 57, of Olathe, passed away on March 22, 2016. She was born on January 25, 1959 to Henry and Minnie (Randel) Trammell in Olathe, KS.

Ginnie was born in Olathe and attended Olathe High School (now Olathe North). She was married to Ronald Frierdich Jr on April 26, 1986 at Lenexa Assembly of God.

One of her proudest achievements was surviving the homeschooling of her four children (although it was mostly smooth sailing after the oldest graduated).

Ginnie’s first thought was always her family and ensuring their care and happiness was her chief concern. She enjoyed many family vacations and set her schedule around her children’s various events. She was always so proud of her children, talking non stop about their accomplishments; even their smallest accomplishments were big in her eyes.

Ginnie loved teaching Sunday School at Calvary Chapel Johnson County and directed several VBS’s over the years.

After the birth of her grandson, Benjamin, everyone else knew they were all knocked down the totem pole a rung. Even at his crankiest, he could do no wrong. Her fridge was always stocked with snacks and food, ready at a moments notice for an impromptu visit from him.

Ginnie is survived by her loving husband Ronald; children Joshua (Christy), Amanda, Ashley and Alisha; and grandson Benjamin.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry and mother Minnie.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, March 26th, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel of Johnson County, 500 S Lee Ave, Olathe, KS 66061. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with burial in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to City Union Mission (www.cityunionmission.org) and Thru the Bible, (www.ttb.org)
