Patrick John Leek, age 21, passed away March 5, 2013 in Olathe, KS. The family suggests memorials to a fund set up for his daughter, Sophia Rose Chapman. Memorials may be mailed in c/o Penwell Gabel Funeral Home 14275 Blackbob Rd. Olathe, KS 66062.

Patrick was born March 30, 1991 in Olathe, KS to James and Sandra Leek. He attended Prince of Peace Catholic School, Oxford Park Academy, Chisholm Trail Junior High, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, and Shawnee Mission South High School. He earned his GED from JCCC. His hobbies were art, beat boxing, and gardening. He was employed at Rachel's Gardens in Olathe.

He is survived by his parents, James and Sandra Leek, four brothers, Ernest, Andrew, Thomas, and Alex, and five sisters, Esther Leek-Veitch, Anne Sherwin, Mary Leek-Stolz, Jane Leek and Angela Leek, aunts and uncle Carol and John Krieger, and Susan Sulkey, one niece, Salome Leek-Stolz, and three nephews, Clovis Leek –Veitch, Ajax Leek-Veitch, and Garyson Sherwin.

He was preceded in death by his sister Rachel, and grandparents, Hollis and Ernestine Leek, of Fort Scott, KS, and Joe and Josephine Sulkey, of St. Louis, MO.



Immediately following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at a reception in St. Mary's Kennedy Gym.
