He was born on February 13, 1926 to Burr and Emma (Ball) Baldwin at Mapleton, KS and served our country in the U.S. Army.
Robert retired from General Motors after 36 years of service working as a metal finisher.
He was a member of American Legion, and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially working on the farm, camping with his family, hunting and fishing.
Robert is survived by his children Bobbi Zimmerman, Robert W. (Nancy) Baldwin, Sandi Buckley, Sharon (Larry) Shippy, Jeanette (Leonard) Rewerts, and Danny (Carol) Baldwin, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Baldwin, brother Franklin Baldwin, sister Thelma Rubin, and his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
