Debra Ann Fischer, 31 of Olathe, KS (formally of Chapel Hill, NC) passed away January 28th, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring in Raleigh, NC.
Debra received a bachelor's degree in biology and business from Appalachian State University in 2006 and her greatest joy was her time spent working to restore coral reefs in the Florida Keys.
She is survived by her parents Nicki and Larry Massingill, sisters Kimberly Levine and husband, Greg; Ronna Waddell and husband, Jason; brother Rob Massingill and wife, Jen; 3 nephews and 3 nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Coral Reef Alliance (www.coral.org)
