Thomas E. Adams, 84, of Olathe, KS, passed away on January 14, 2017 at Olathe Hospice House.


He was born on March 22, 1932 to Thomas and Mae Adams at LeHunt, KS.

Thomas served for over 20 years in the United States Navy, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of Earl Collier American Legion Post #153 American Legion, the VFW, and the AmVets. He was also a member of the Earl Collier Funeral Honor Detail for many years.

Thomas is survived by the love of his life and former wife, Margaret Higgins, Step-Daughter, Sandra Cusick, Step-Grandson, Conan Carling, and Step-Granddaughter, Tiffany LaFountain, and great-grandchildren Christian and Addyson French.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A committal service with military honors will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 2:30pm in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.


Memorials are suggested to the Earl Collier American Legion Post #153 Funeral Honor Detail, 410 E. Dennis Ave., Olathe, KS 66061.
