Christine "Tina" Ann Cox, 72, of Olathe, passed away on August 31, 2018. She was born on March 4, 1946 to Friedrich and Anni (Kreienkamp) Springer in Regensburg, Germany.

Tina was brought up in Germany. She came to the United States in 1964. She gave birth to a daughter, Patty, in 1965 and a son, Richard Todd, in 1967. After a failed marriage she met Jim Cox who was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He would become the love of her life and they married in March of 1969. They moved to Kansas after the military and had another son, Jimmy, in 1971.. Through the years they spent a lot of time supporting activities with their children. Tina worked as an Avon Lady and later as a receptionist at the Hairem in Olathe. In her spare time she was an avid needle crafter. She would spend hours making hat, scarfs, and afghans to donate to charities. She had an enormous heart and was loved by all she came in contact with. There are no words that can describe the loss to this family and others who knew her.

Tina is survived by her loving husband, James; children, Patricia Bulva, Richard Pearson, and James cox III; grandchildren, Jacob and Briley Bulva, Jason Pearson, Josh Pearson, Jenna Pearson, Peyton Cox, Sammy Cox, Charles Cox; and great-granddaughter, Jaycie Bulva.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Karl Kreienkamp; and grandson, James Cox IV.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 3846 West 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
